Thanks for the great feedback – here’s part two of my shopping. We’ve all heard about shopping the perimeter, eat whole foods, etc. That’s great, but honestly sometimes I need to go in the middle. Sometimes I need flour, or tomato sauce because I didn’t can enough. Let’s be real here,...  It’s become apparent to me that I’ve become that person, that friend. The one that other friends and people feel the need to hide from because I’ve become a hair nuts about food. The quality of food. What’s in my food. I didn’t mean to be that person, I certainly don’t go into peoples homes...  My kids take their lunch to school almost everyday. There are few school lunches that I and they are willing eat – so I spend a good chunk of my grocery bill on granola bars. Good, quality granola bars are expensive plain and simple. A box can cost upwards to $5 or $6 depending on...  I’m a fan of Valentine’s. I don’t buy into the notion that you demonstrate your love once a year, but I am a fan of taking the time to make sure I let those that I love, just know it a bit more. I know many people are cynical about the value of this day... |
